Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 launches in India- All you need to know!

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi made Indians wait for months before the launch of their next budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 3, but this wait was worth it. The Note 3 has a good looking metal finish and a rear fingerprint scanner.

This device comes with a nice metal finish design along with round edges and a big 5.5 inch display. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the device, and the SIM slot is placed on the left side. The front panel consists of three soft keys and a 5MP selfie camera. The Redmi Note 3 sports a 16MP primary camera with dual LED flash and a circular fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The screen of the device also has a reading mode, which reduces eye strain when there isn't enough light available. The display is very good for people who want wide viewing angles and a big screen for playing games or watching movies.

Speaking about the Hardware of the phone, the Redmi Note 3 is the first smartphone from Xiaomi to be powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. Xiaomi is introducing two variants with different storage and RAM capacity. There is a 3GB RAM variant with 32GB internal storage and a 2GB one with 16GB internal memory and expandable memory upto 128GB. It also has a massive 4000mAh battery, which is very good in this price range.

Talking about the Software, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with a layer of MIUI 7. Yes, there is no app drawer on this version of MIUI too, but that's nothing to worry, isn't it? Just use one of the various launchers available on the Google Play Store.
The device also has support for OTG and features like anti-virus to keep your data safe and secure.

Coming to the Camera, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sports a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Around 23% more mega pixels (MP) than LeEco (Letv) Le 1s. More resolution generally means better picture quality, though it's not always necessary.

Xiaomi needed to get this phone to the Indian markets because of severe competition in this segment by Motorola, LeEco, Lenovo and various other companies.

The Redmi Note 3 has specs slightly better than the LeEco Le 1S. But it is heard that the Le 1S users are facing a lot of problems with the phone. So, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is a very good choice considering the price tag it comes with.
