Xiaomi, after a little hault in the global markets has come back with two very impressive smartphones; the Mi5 and the mi 4S. The Chinese manufacturer also launched the Redmi Note 3 in India, which had already been launched in China a few months ago but comes with a few changes in the Indian version.
And now, to make the process of transferring files and other data easier for users, the manufacturer has launched an app called "Mi Mover App" which helps you transfer your data like music, photos, files and more from your smartphone to a Xiaomi smartphone. This app is similar to the Moto Migrate and the Move to iOS app. The Mi Mover App does not involve any wires or Internet, it works just by pairing the two devices using a QR Code scanner.
Features of the Mi Mover App
As we already mentioned that this app doesn't require Internet or wires, one can transfer multiple data formats such as Images, videos, messages, contacts documents and other data.
The speed of the App is up to 6 MB per second which is much faster compared to restoring backup from the Google Drive or Dropbox, or any other could application.
Requirements for Mi Mover App
For now, the Mi Mover App cannot help iOS users. The device should have Android 4.2 JellyBean or above. The App can be easily downloaded from the Google Play Store and is about 10MB in size. Download the Mi Mover App here.
