Smartphones surely have changed our lives. More and more people are saving money and buying Smartphones. May it be Nexus' 6P or the latest flagship by Samsung, the Galaxy S7 or cheaper budget smartphones.

Yesterday, we had written an article about a phone by Ringing Bells which is going to launch the worlds cheapest smartphone and will cost lesser than Rs 500, which is $7 Approximately.

But we have got news that this smartphone will just cost 251 Indian rupees, which is just about 3.5$ !

Obviously, I thought the same as you. But what if i told you that this phone has a camera, no, I mean 2 cameras, Android Lollipop and a pretty decent battery. Shocked already, right?

I wish that my phone's monthly was cheaper than this smartphone...

The above pictures are not the real pictures of the phone, but another phone by the same company. The actual pictures are shown below.

Update: See the update in the article below.

We thought that this phone could be a deal killer in the market. A phone for Rs 251 seems pretty unbelievable. Doesn't it?
But no, we're not going to say much on the unbelievable part...

First of all, in all the images we shared above, and pics posted by NDTV, the "Ringing Bells Freedom 251" Smartphone didn't have any identification, like a logo or branding on the phone. Instead the phone was actually manufactured by a company called Adcom and looks exactly the same like that company's "ikon 4" model. Also, the Adcom logo on the supposedly Freedom 251 was taped so that you couldn't see the "Adcom" logo.

Secondly, the phones UI most probably will take the company to the court. Some of the app icons are redisgined a little from the existing Apple app icons whereas others are blindly copy pasted onto the UI of the phone.

I took a screenshot which you can see below, from the video posted by NDTV in which they spoke about the phone. And below the screenshot is another image of the UI posted by NDTV themselves.

Third and the last flaw we found out from this phone was that, this phone can be illigal to be sold for now.

As reported again by NDTV, That's not the only cause for concern though. All phones sold in India must be certified by Bereau of Indian Standards. Getting this certification done is both expensive and time consuming. However, it appears that the BIS registration of the Ringing Bells Freedom 251 has not been done, as it is not listed in the list of manufacturers registered by BIS. This means that if the phone is a new device made by Ringing Bells, then it has not been certified as safe for use in India.

After this phone has received so much attention, we hope that this wil, be genuine and will actually reach our hands. I know 251 rupees is very less for us, but if a lot of people are going to pay for it tomorrow, the company would've already got a LOT of money in their hands.

We, suggest you not to buy this phone tomorrow buy wait for a few days, or hours until more information is given in this phone.
