OnePlus, the Chinese mobile startup, which has launched 3 phones as of now- The OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and the OnePlus X. OnePlus had recently announced that the invite-only OnePlus 2 is history and the phone is available without invites. However, the OnePlus X still continues with the invite system.
Speaking about the OnePlus 3, there is nothing official as of now but a new rumour on the phone has surfaced China. UpLeaks, which is a very popular gadget leak and rumour website have posted about the OnePlus 3 a few days back.
The specifications of the phones are supposedly to be as follows-
The OnePlus 3 will be featured with a Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC, and that it will sport a fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, according to the source.
However, UpLeaks too isn't sure whether this is absolutely correct or not.
Unfortunately, that’s all the information they were able to provide at the moment, which isn’t a lot, but it’s at least something. As the launch date approaches, we will see more and more such rumours and leaks, but for that we still have to wait for quite some time.
OnePlus 2 was announced back in July, and probably still has a strong market before the company unveils the OnePlus 3, unless they plan on changing their current release cycle, in which can the phone might arrive sooner than expected. But this would most likely not happen.
Keep in mind that these photos, as we told you might be concept design images as the OnePlus 3 is not supposed to arrive anytime soon, but the device surely is very nice looking. Do you agree too?
The OnePlus 3 is still pretty much a mystery, but it will sure going to be interesting to see how does OnePlus intend on improving upon the OnePlus 2. The device has some issues as reported by its users like excessive heating, fingerprint sensor not working. But the is a very good buy. The phone offers a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, not to mention that it also ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop on a very fluid Oxygen OS which is installed on top of it. The 13-megapixel snapper which is located on the back of this device is also quite capable, and you have various accessory options in order to customize your device the way you want to.
All we can say as of now is, if you are buying a new phone soon, do not expect the OnePlus 3 to release soon, you can compare OnePlus' 2 and the Google Nexus 5X here. If you are going to buy a phone within half a year then only you should wait for the release of the OnePlus 3 mobile.
While doing a search on the web for the phone, we saw this video on OnePlus' official forum. You can see the concept design by Smit below
