HTC One M10 likely to launch in April

In the world of smartphones, these days there wouldn't be any smartphone which releases before most of it's specs and looks are leaked.

Same goes with HTC's latest phone in line, the HTC One M10. Initially, it was rumoured that HTC would launch the One M10 at MWC in February, but later it was found that HTC wanted to hold their own event in March.

Now, fresh rumours claim that HTC will hold its standalone event for the One M10 on the 11th of April.

While HTC is yet to confirm these rumours, we will just have to wait a little longer to see if HTC has a device that can bring the company back from the edge of death.
HTC needs to get something very impressive if it wants to compete with some of the big brands like Samsung, LG and other growing companies like OnePlus and Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship.

The Htc One M9 and One A9 did little to help HTC in terms of sales and image. While the One M9 was hated for the HTC logo band on the front, the One A9 was criticised for its apparent iPhone 6 looks.

From what is known about the One M10 as of now, the device looks a lot less like the One M9 and more similar to the One A9.

Renders show that the newest flagship
would not have the front facing BoomSound dual speakers and the logo band, while the rest of the phone is pretty much like the One A9.

The rumoured specification's of the One M10 suggest a 5.1-inch QHD AMOLED touchscreen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset powering the device with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a microSD card slot.

The phone sports a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera with laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. The device will likely run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8 atop.

With the growing smartphone industry with so many newbies coming out with brilliant phone's, do you think HTC will be able to attract customers?
