Android N settings to have hamburger menu for easy navigation

Google is expected to announce its latest Android version which is the Android N at their I/O event in the month of May this year.

Not many details on the Android N have been revealed so far, but it most likely is going to focus on multi-tasking, improving security and user experience.

The latest leaked screenshots give us a preview of Android N, revealing a hamburger-style menu button.
The new hamburger like menu button was seen on the top right corner of the screen. The leaked photos show Android N’s settings, particularly the Bluetooth controls. Settings look quite standard except for the new menu button on the top.

Even though it is not very clear what the new button actually does, the publication suggests that it will allow users to open the side drawer. It will feature all the settings sections at one place, making it easier to jump between the sections without going back to the main screen.

We believe that with the next version of Android, the Android N, multitasking and improving user experience is most likely going to be the main focus of the new update.

Andrew Bowers, director for consumer hardware at Google during an AMA on Reddit told,
We’re working on lots of things right now for N that, of course, we wish we had, you know, yesterday, but we’d spoil the surprise of N if we shared all of them. Split screen is in the works,
What do you think will be the name of the next version of Android? Do tell us in the comments below!
