iPhone 6c to ditch metal body, chooses metal instead

iPhone 5c, the predecessor of the iPhone 6 series was a little cheaper phone to buy released by Apple a few years back. The mobile came with cheaper materials having mostly plastic as its main hardware component.
We all thought that this plastic would continue in the upcoming models of the iPhone 6c and so on.. Right? But no, Apple does not have any plans like that. Instead Apple will be going with metal for its iPhone 6c too. However, the phone will be available in the various colours like the iPhone 5c.

The mobile was rumored since March this year and is finally said to be released in January and go on sale in February next year. This i said according to Foxconn Insiders, which seems not to believe entirely as this is not the time Apple releases its products.

The release of the smartphone is not official as of now, but according to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has an accurate track record for Apple leaks, the iPhone 6c will feature a 4-inch display and is expected to enter mass production in the first half of 2016. You might have heard about Apple launching a 4 inch smartphone, sources suggest that the 4" Smartphone will be the iPhone 6c itself.

From the past leaks and rumours, the iPhone 6c will have the Touch ID fingerprint sensor that was missing from iPhone 5c. Users can also expect an A9 SoC, improved FaceTime HD camera with f/2.2 aperture, and support for 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 wireless standards. However, the new purported iPhone handset won't come with 3D Touch display as the flagship feature in Apple's latest generation of iPhone models the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. This is because the phone is supposed to fall under the company's so called 'budget' smartphone range.
