Android 7.0 N- Split screen support in the working!

Following Android Alpha and Android Beta, Google has always named its Android OS updates after sweet treats, and in alphabetical order. So far we've had Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop and Marshmallow.
The Android Marshmallow 6.0 released just a few months back, we all know that the next version of Android, 7.0 will not release anytime soon, not before late 2016 atleast.

But, Google is already working on the next version, Android N 7.0. The development of the split screen was announced on a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) by the team behind Pixel C.

We’re working on lots of things right now for N that, of course, we wish we had, you know, yesterday,” said Andrew Bowers, Google’s director for consumer hardware. “But we’d spoil the surprise of N if we shared all of them. Split screen is in the works!”

In the meanwhile, The Pixel C team said that it will be working for smaller updates for the Pixel C. Google apparently plans to roll out regular improvements to the convertible tablet similar to its monthly Nexus security updates. That should include the addition of always-on “Ok Google” support, which is missing from the new tablet at launch.

The team also admitted that the tablets still lack in terms of tablet optimised apps and is working with developers to get better Apps for tablets.

Glen Murphy, Director of UX for Android and Chrome said the following regarding the Android tablets..
We’re spending a lot of time working with developers to get better and more awesome tablet apps
He also added the following: "But it is definitely a chicken-egg problem, and we think a key driver is awesome hardware."

All done with the information available about the next version of Android, what do you think will be the name of the Android 7.0 'N' version? Nutella or Nerds, or? DO answer the poll below and lets see how was correct in a few months ;-)
