But this time, HTC, in an official announcement has told that the first update for the Marshmallow 6.0 is going to be on the 20th of October. However there is no news about which phone is getting the update. We believe that any of the HTC phones which are getting the 6.0 could get it on October 20. These include HTC M8, M8 Eye, E8, Desire 816, Desire 820, Desire 826, M9, M9+ and a few more.
The update will be released on October 20, as we told you already, at 12:00 Noon eastern time ( 9:30 Pm Indian standard time )

If your HTC phone is not the one getting it on that day, do not loose hope! HTC has told that many of its phones which are getting the Marshmallow update will get it within this year, which means you need not actually buy a new phone, but instead get the latest Android version ;-)
