OnePlus X to go invite free in India tomorrow onwards!

OnePlus, which launched to impressive smartphones this year; the OnePlus 2 and the good looking OnePlus X has been appreciated by a lot of people. Until a few months back getting an invite for both the phones was something people would crave for but sadly, most of them could not get one.

And then OnePlus decided to lift the invite system of the OnePlus 2 and kept it on open sale where many people purchased it. In many international markets too, the OnePlus removed the invite system for the X. But it didn't include India. However the device was being sold without an invite only on a particular day of the week, every week.

This China-based company went official on their website and said that the OnePlus X will become invite-free for Indian consumers starting November 5th. All the variants of the device are included in this offer, the Onyx Black, Champagne Gold, and the limited edition Ceramic models. These devices will be invite-free starting February 5th through Amazon India. The OnePlus X Onyx Black and Champagne Gold variants are priced at Rs. 16,999 ($251), while the limited edition Ceramic variant can be purchased for Rs. 22,999 ($340) in India.
OnePlus' CEO, on their official blog post said as follows.
Friends,

As we continue to move our business forward, we will never stop looking for exciting new ways to reinvent ourselves. That’s why we’re excited to announce that as of today the OnePlus X is completely invite-free.

We’re extremely excited to be making the OnePlus X invite-free more quickly this time around. With every device we release, we grow more mature and more adept at handling the demands and expectations of our community. We largely owe our success to your unrelenting support, so we hope that this development will make the process of purchasing your very own OnePlus X as smooth and effortless as it can possibly be.

It’s been almost two years since the OnePlus One saw the light of day, firmly putting our fledgling mobile startup on the map. The invite system was integral to our approach at the time, allowing us to scale our operations, while giving fans an engaging way to get involved with the product. One year, some successes, and the occasional bump in the road later, we were able to make the OnePlus One available for purchase without an invite.

Unlike its predecessor, the OnePlus 2 was invite-free approximately four months after its release. With the OnePlus X going invite-free in even less time, this is a trend that we mean to continue.

While you’re checking out the OnePlus X, don’t forget to take a look at all of the accessories we have on offer. As of today, select colors of your favorite OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X cases and covers are 20% off! Click here to see what’s on sale.

The OnePlus team also added
"The invite system has been crucial to letting us scale our operations and has given our fans a unique way to share our brand story with the people in their lives. It has been our constant endeavour to enhance the smartphone experience for all of you in taking risks by pushing ourselves and showing real improvements. That’s why we’re making the OnePlus X invite-free, forever, for a more cheerful buying experience,”

Probably everyone know the specification of this well made smartphone. For those of you who don't,  the OnePlus X sports a 5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage expandable with a micro SD card.  Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 SoC fuels this phone, and a non-removable 2,525mAh battery is available on the inside. The 13-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this device, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with OnePlus’ Oxygen OS.

So how many of you are going to buy this phone tomorrow from Amazon India? Do let us know in the comments!
