The specs which was leaked a few weeks back are very similar to that listed on the Amazons website. The pricing details or the photos of the phone were not put on the website.
The latest phone, the OnePlus X will feature a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution IPS display with pixel density of 401ppi. The display would come covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and Synaptics' ClearForce Technology, which functions similarly to iPhone 6s models' Force Touch display.
The OnePlus X page on Amazon India suggests that the smartphone will run on an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 SoC, clubbed with 2GB of RAM. A 2450mAh battery would come in the OnePlus X. The listing once again mentions the handset to feature a metal frame finish around the body that also houses the 'SideTouch' functionality. Using the function users can launch apps or the device camera application by touching the left-side of the screen. However, since the smartphone would not be a high-end offering by OnePlus, these features might not come with the phone.
The OnePlus X or the OnePlus Mini is said to run on OxygenOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Preliminary rumours and leaks suggest the device to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor without OIS. However, the rear camera would be featuring a combination of PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation).

As for the connectivity, the OnePlus X will reportedly include FM radio, NFC, and an IR blaster. Also mentioned is the inclusion of removable StyleSwap covers. Although the back panel would be removable, the battery would stay fixed as the smartphone would be IP67-certified.
Oh, if you have any hopes that the phone will be available without invites, the page on Amazon showed "Invite only" just like all other phones by OnePlus released till date.
As we saw it first on Amazon India, we think that the phone will release on or before Diwali, one of India's major festivals.
This should also conform to a large extent that the phone will be available before Christmas.
So would this be the perfect gifting option for the festive season? Tell us!
